What began as one mother’s homeschool journey eventually became a proven system shaped through real life, real children, and real experience.

Founded by Holly Jessop, a homeschooling mother of 14, Meacher Academy was built from years of learning what truly works inside a home-centered education environment. Through every season, challenge, breakthrough, and success, one truth became clear: children thrive when education is intentional, flexible, supportive, and rooted in the unique needs of each learner.

Today, Meacher Academy exists to help families create meaningful, sustainable homeschool experiences without overwhelm or isolation.

I’m a homeschooling mother of 14 children, and over the years, I’ve built our entire education around something simple: what actually works in real life.

I didn’t start with a perfect plan or a background in education. I started with one child, then another, and another—learning, refining, and building systems along the way. What emerged was a structured yet flexible approach that helped each of my children grow into confident, capable, and independent individuals.

Meacher Academy is the result of that journey. It’s where I share the tools, frameworks, and support I wish I had when I started—so you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.
